Sicily is welcoming and intriguing, polite and controversial. At that time I still didn\u2019t know that I would hopelessly fall in love with it.<\/p>\n Having arrived from the North, I am an adopted daughter of the South, with its ancestral sea, the light that pierces your eyes, the baroque of certain churches; beautiful and dazzling; It was Donna Stella, Sciclitana, custodian of the petals thrown at Gioia, who gave me the first Shawl.<\/p>\n Donna Stella left me an important legacy, to promote and spread the old Sicilian shawl tradition throughout the world.
