I left my hometown to follow my heart, and discovered that when every part of you moves with love, you can never lose your way. Twenty years ago, I encountered Sicily, elusive and maternal, intense and full of contrasts.

I came from the North, yet here I found a new home: the ancestral sea, the dazzling light, the enchanting baroque. I was swept away by a beauty powerful enough to change my life forever.
It was in Scicli that I first understood the Shawl. Not as a garment, but as a language. Something women had worn for centuries to say: I am here, I belong, I carry this place with me. That recognition became a mission: to share with the world the ancient tradition of the Sicilian Shawl, reinterpreted through a contemporary and deeply personal language.
This is how CHIARA IS came to life, a brand that weaves together roots and innovation, craftsmanship and vision, Sicily and the world.
